How Squid Socks is Handling the COVID-19 Pandemic
Dear Squid Socks Family,
We want to thank you for your continued support of our small business during the COVID-19 pandemic. We know this is a challenging time in countless ways for the entirety of our community, and want to provide updates as we continue to navigate these waters together:
May 2020 updates:
SHIPPING: Due to new shipping restrictions, we are temporarily suspending international shipments. We will resume as soon as we are safely able to do so, however we are limited to US + Canada shipments only at this time.
SIZING: In relation to the shipping restrictions, there has been an extended production halt on our smaller sizes. Due to this, our 0-6 and 6-12 size availability is limited. We sincerely hope production commences as soon as possible, however safety is the top priority. When we have an updated timeline, we will share immediately with our community.
NEW STYLES: A silver lining to our down time: the creativity is flowing! We’re excited to share new styles with you shortly. We’ve listened to your suggestions and will be rolling out new solids (most requested!), patterns, and characters in the upcoming months…stay tuned!Thank you for your understanding during this unique time. We’ll get through this!

The rapidly changing coronavirus pandemic is an unsettling source of uncertainty for all of us. We know you're concerned. And at times like this, communication is critical. We've developed this webpage to keep you informed as we manage the impacts of this public health crisis, and we'll be updating it as needed in the coming weeks.
We're gathering new information every day and making informed decisions in real-time, while also looking ahead and planning proactively.
First and foremost, our top priority is the health and safety of our community—our customers, manufacturers, and partners. We've been very active in our monitoring of the situation and in following the advice of public health experts like the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local public health authorities.
We've also been keeping an open line of communication with others in our network, learning about their experiences, and sharing ours.
We're prepared to act quickly and nimbly in the best interests of our community, and we'll continue to adjust our course as needed to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Secondly, we are working diligently to ensure that we can continue to provide you with the highest level of exceptional, genuine, and caring customer service we pride ourselves on because we are grateful for each and every customer.
Our dedicated support team is available in the same capacity as before the outbreak, so please reach out as you usually would with any questions, concerns, or assistance needed to us at email@example.com.
SHIPPING & INVENTORY:
While this is a very unpredictable situation, we are doing our best to be proactive about all disruptions. We cannot guarantee we won't be impacted in some way, as we extended delivery times to 3-5 days due to the volume our dedicated USPS workers are managing.
Our inventory levels will fluctuate in both available collections and sizes, but we continue to receive shipments as they are produced with every implemented safety precaution.
But rest assured - we are still on track to offer NEW collections in solids, squid characters, and prints, although some delays remain unavoidable.
We update our stock availability every day and will continue to do so, including notifying our customers when new collections arrive.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR HEARTS
Your continued patronage deeply humbles us during this quarantine period, and your patience is appreciated more than we can possibly articulate.
As a small family business, we are fortunate to be safe and healthy, and will continue to manage our sock business with the same level of enthusiasm, drive, and focus. Challenges are inevitable with little ones at home until this crisis ends, and we realize we are not alone in this new reality.
