High quality but not for what I purchased them for
I purchased these ankle socks for Reformer Pilates, and was very excited to get them. I finally received them and looking at them in person I realized the bottom grip is ONLY the "Squid Socks" written on the bottom. There is no grip on the ball of the foot or the arch. This will not work for Reformer Pilates as (for safety) the more the soul has grips, the better. I really like the quality and how they feel on my feet, so I will keep them for other things, but not for Reformer Pilates. If these are to be advertised for Pilates, mat would be the only one I would recommend these for. Now, if there is a new sock design for reformer Pilates, then I highly recommend a full bottom covering with grips. The grip lines on the no-show socks would work all the way to the ball of the foot.
